 DR. DAVID CHERMAK
Dr. David Chermak was born and raised in Southern California. He attended the University of Kentucky where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1997 and completed an advanced residency program in general dentistry the following year. During dental school he was president of Beta Delta honor society and a member of Phi Delta honor society, both of which represent graduating in the top 5% of his dental school class. At the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, Dr. Chermak received his certificate in orthodontics and Master's degree in biological sciences.
After completing his orthodontics residency, Dr. Chermak practiced for a short time in Raleigh, North Carolina. He moved to Winston-Salem in 2001. He is an officer in the Forsyth County Dental Society and is a representative of the North Carolina political actions committee for the American Dental Association.
Dr. Chermak and his wife, Marci, were married in April of 2003. They have two rambunctious cats. He is an avid golfer and college sports fan. When time permits, he and Marci also enjoy traveling.
